Sage Arbor XL Fly Reel delivers fast line pickup and confident drag control when targeting trout, steelhead, salmon, and light saltwater species on modern fly setups. An ultra-large arbor and narrow spool manage line cleanly during long runs, while the Sealed Carbon System (SCS) drag applies smooth, consistent pressure through a One Revolution Drag Knob with precise, numbered detents for repeatable adjustments. Fully machined from cold-forged and tempered 6061-T6 aluminum, the concave, ported arbor boosts strength and capacity without excess weight, and a hard-anodized finish protects against corrosion from river to flats. Comfort and versatility are rounded out by an ergonomic handle, an easy left- or right-hand retrieve conversion, and a protective neoprene and embroidered ballistic nylon case, available in Slate and Frost.
