The RIO Big Nasty Tapered Leader helps fly anglers turn over bulky streamers, foam hoppers, terrestrials, and bass bugs when trout, bass, and other aggressive fish demand bigger profiles and longer casts. Its 6 ft. length, stiff medium nylon, and powerful butt section drive heavy flies with authority, helping you keep loops under control in windy conditions and place large patterns tight to banks, grass edges, wood, and other high-percentage targets. RIO gives this tapered nylon leader the toughness and abrasion resistance needed for hard fishing around cover, while the aggressive taper keeps turnover crisp when lighter trout leaders fall short with oversized flies. A hand-tied perfection loop in the butt speeds up rigging, making this a strong choice for streamer fishing, warmwater fly fishing, and any situation where casting larger flies cleanly matters more than finesse.

• Powerful taper and butt section turn over heavy streamers, hoppers, terrestrials, and bass bugs with control
• Medium-stiff nylon helps carry larger flies at distance and holds up better in windy casting conditions
• Tough, abrasion-resistant material suits fishing around wood, rock, grass, and other rough cover
• Hand-tied perfection loop allows fast leader changes and simple rigging on fly line loops
