The Pirate One Eye Walleye Rig, also known as Captain Dan’s One Eye Walleye Rig, is one of the most effective walleye spinner rigs for trolling. A 3 1/4-inch painted spoon with dimpled and smooth surfaces creates a fluttering, wobbling motion, while a 2-inch willow leaf blade adds extra vibration to trigger aggressive strikes. The crawler harness features two blood-red single hooks, perfect for tipping with nightcrawlers or live bait. A 9-10 bead sequence provides additional flash and attraction, making these effective spinner rigs for walleye in clear or murky water.
