The Okuma X-Series Trolling Rod gives salmon anglers the controlled bend, strength, and line-management performance needed for Great Lakes trolling, downrigger spreads, diver rods, planer boards, and open-water king, coho, steelhead, and lake trout programs. Its 24-ton moderate tapered carbon rod blank loads smoothly under pressure, while UXR Ultimate X Reinforced Multi-Directional Fiber Technology adds strength for hard-running fish and demanding trolling setups. A double locking SeaGuide Alien reel seat keeps the reel secure, and the SeaGuide deep press frame protects the RS SeaGuide inserts for dependable performance around heavy line, long leads, and repeated rod holder use. Finished with a custom 3-K woven carbon cone grip configuration, this two-piece salmon trolling rod gives anglers a durable, technique-ready option for covering water and managing big fish.
