The Okuma Rockaway SI Surf & Inshore Spinning Reel provides surf casters and inshore anglers with a lightweight, corrosion-resistant reel that performs reliably even under repeated exposure to saltwater. The C-40X carbon body and sideplate keep the reel light in hand while resisting flex during hard retrieves. Its oversized HDG+ main gear delivers torque and cranking power for controlling redfish, snook, stripers, and more, while the Flite Drive system enhances gear stability for smoother operation under load. The 5HPB + 1RB stainless-steel bearing system accelerates line pickup to stay tight on fast-moving fish, and the machined aluminum handle and spool add rigidity where it counts.

With no anti-reverse switch, this reel eliminates a potential entry point for water, making it more reliable in the event of splashing. The Hydro Block body protects the drag and pinion from water intrusion, preserving long-term performance in salt and sand. Perfect for plugging jetties, casting off the beach, or drifting through mangroves, the Rockaway SI packs pro-level components into an angler-friendly package that withstands the demands of coastal waters.
