From soaking live bait for walleye and catfish to targeting bass, trout, and inshore species, the Quantum Merit Free Liner Spinning Reel gives anglers precise drag control and dependable performance for a wide range of fishing situations. The free liner system allows anglers to disengage the primary front drag and activate a lighter, adjustable rear drag, making it easier to present live bait naturally while staying ready for solid hooksets. The CFX200 carbon fiber extreme drag system provides high maximum drag pressure with a smooth drag curve, while the Sealoq 6 sealing system meets IPX8 standards to help keep water, salt, and sand away from the gearbox, drag system, and line roller. A lightweight graphite body and rotor paired with an aluminum side plate deliver strength, corrosion resistance, and reduced weight, while Quantum’s proprietary Hot Sauce lubrication helps maintain smooth, efficient operation over time.
