The Lamson Speedster Fly Rod & Reel Outfit gives fly anglers a powerful, ready-to-fish setup for covering water with streamers, larger flies, and heavier rigs when targeting trout, bass, steelhead, and salmon. The 9-foot, four-piece Speedster rod uses a fast action that helps turn over demanding presentations and maintain line control through long days on rivers and lakes. Lamson pairs the rod with the dependable Guru X reel and fully rigs the outfit with backing, a premium fly line matched to the rod, and a leader, so anglers can spend less time assembling gear before a trip. The 5- and 6-weight models offer a modified Ritz grip, while select 6-weight models, plus the 7- and 8-weight options, feature a full-wells grip with a fighting butt for added leverage against stronger fish. A padded travel tube protects the rod and reel between trips and keeps the complete outfit organized for transport.
