This is just the net I need. It fits perfect in the back pocket of my fishing pack, and unlike fly nets, it does not bounces against your back as you walk, and there is no need to stop and reattach the net to the back of your vest. I like the v-shape design, and allows for clean sweeps under the fish. The meshing could be better used much much worse, and a whole lot better. To sum this up, I enjoy my purchase, and would highly recommend this product to any avid or weekend angler. P.s. It is kid friendly and easy for the youngsters to open and help land fish.

    Steady and large

Bought a small version and lost it. Then bought the larger one for salmon and large catfish. The net is steady and easy to store once folded.

    Good net for Four-Six pounders

Stores nicely in the boat. When the net is fully extended, it feels like a heavy fish could break the handle.

    Great Net, Long Reach

Posted by Slim Jim on June 12, 2019

First, this net is easy to store. Assembly is quick and easy and the long handle helps land fish away from boat (motor, etc.)

I often hike along rivers and tribs in winter for steelhead and browns. I stopped carrying a net due to hang ups on brush/tees and lost a good number of fish as a result. This net is perfect. Folds into a compact unit, easy to cary, long extendable hande makes reaching down a snow/ice covered bank easy. Folding mechanism still worked and did not freeze up even in single digit temps. Only had it a couple of months so can't speak to long term durability but looks really good so far.
