The Deep Rig Tackle Mini Cut Bait Meat Heads give Great Lakes trollers a compact bait head that turns a herring strip into a tight, rolling presentation salmon and trout chase hard behind flashers and other trolling attractors. This small trolling head holds a strip of cut bait or artificial herring as part of a meat rig system commonly used for targeting Chinook, coho, lake trout, and steelhead, and once you insert the strip into the head, it drives the bait with a tight rolling, spinning action that matches the look of an injured baitfish. That controlled roll helps trigger reaction strikes from open-water predators, and the available colors give anglers room to match water conditions, light levels, and spread setups across a wide range of trolling programs.
