The Daiwa Steez-A TWS Casting Reel delivers powerful long-casting performance with the strength to tackle finesse, mid-range, and heavy-duty applications. Its foundation is Daiwa’s Hyper Drive Design, which features a rigid housing, precision-cut Digigear internals, and a reinforced clutch for smooth, reliable operation under heavy loads. The lightweight G1 Duralumin spool reduces mass without compromising strength, improving casting control and spool response without drilling strength-reducing holes. Casting distance gets a major boost with Magforce-Z Boost technology, which extends spool flight for longer casts with medium and heavy lures. Daiwa’s T-Wing System (TWS) minimizes friction and line angles to reduce backlash and line noise while enhancing casting accuracy. Smooth drag performance is achieved through the Automatic Tournament Drag (ATD), designed to lower start-up inertia for a seamless transition from hookset to fight. Engineered to endure harsh environments, the Steez-A TWS features corrosion-resistant CRBB bearings that last up to 12 times longer than standard stainless steel bearings by blocking grit, salt, and debris. Finished with a 90mm handle for extra torque and comfort, the Steez-A TWS is designed for anglers who demand both power and precision.
