The Daiwa Steez CT SV TW 70 Casting Reel gives anglers a compact, lightweight reel with the toughness to handle everything from finesse presentations to mid- and heavy-duty tactics. It starts with a full magnesium body that keeps weight down without sacrificing strength or corrosion resistance. Inside, Daiwa’s Hyper Drive Design maximizes efficiency under load with reinforced gearing, a smooth clutch, and a rigid frame to keep everything aligned when fighting fish or cranking under pressure. The G1 Duralumin spool weighs less than standard aircraft-grade aluminum yet retains its structural integrity through precision machining, which eliminates the need for strength-reducing cutouts. For extended performance in fresh or saltwater, Daiwa’s CRBB (Corrosion Resistant Ball Bearings) outlast traditional stainless steel by a factor of 12, using specially treated components and a shielded design to keep out grit, salt, and fine debris. Casting is further enhanced with Daiwa’s T-Wing System (TWS), a T-shaped line guide that opens during the cast to reduce friction and backlash, then re-centers during retrieve for even line lay. Combined with the 90mm handle for increased torque and cranking comfort, the Steez CT SVTW 70 delivers precision, power, and smooth performance in one of Daiwa’s most versatile low-profile reels.
