When bass stack along deep ledges, points, channel swings, and offshore structure, the Bill Lewis DR-18 Crankbait gets your presentation down to fish holding well below the reach of many standard crankbaits. Weighing 7/8 oz. and diving to 18 feet, this deep-diving bass crankbait uses additional diving planes along the sides of the body to increase its diving depth and angle, helping the lure reach the strike zone efficiently during a long retrieve. An internal transfer weight shifts during the cast to increase distance, giving anglers the reach needed to cover expansive flats, probe offshore structure, and keep the bait at depth longer. Rigged with Mustad Triple Grip treble hooks, the DR-18 provides secure hookups and improved landing ratios when largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass load up on the bait deep in the water column.
