What are the best Bandit colors for Lake Erie and Great Lakes?

The short answer from a staff member who spends every weekend from late April to mid-September on a Lake Erie walleye charter boat: Chrome Black Back, Chrome Blue Back, Fire Tiger, and Fruit Dots. These hot colors do a bang-up job mimicking baitfish, such as Emerald Shiners, smelt, and shad. However, the plethora of other Bandit colors has its place when walleye want something other than those "go-to" colors. (at the top right - Chrome Black Back; at the bottom - Chrome Blue Back).

How do I set up lines for walleye with Bandit lures?

Running straight 12 lb. monofilament lines are very popular when trolling with a Bandit Lures Deep Walleye Crankbait as is using 30 lb. braid connecting to a 12 lb. fluorocarbon leader.
