In my favorite river these with the garlic scent work exceptionally well. I know when I use these I will catch trout. These are my go to bait when fishing for trout.

When dark use the white and red is good all day. Hard fishing? Use combination usally red and sunrise color or red and white. Start with 30 in leader and if no action go to 48 to 60 in leader. Small nibblers have a hard time with just two powerballs on a #14 troublehook when they are just pulling on bait, finally they take it. The Garlic powerballs are great at all times. Good luck.
