Z-Man Drew's Ultimate Ned Rig Rod blends advanced rod-building techniques with old-school finesse-style fishing theories to skyrocket daily catch rates into the hundreds! Developed with Z-Man, Drew Reese – a pioneer of Midwest finesse (aka Ned rig fishing) – the Ultimate Ned Rig Rod is designed specifically for tiny lures and light lines, fine-wire hooks, and exceptional bite detection. After testing what is perhaps the first major sub-six-foot rod release in a generation, Ned Krehe (credited with the Ned rig technique) reported the fast action, light power Z-Man Ned Rig Rods were perfect for everyday anglers who gain joy from feeling every bite, headshake, and catching a ton of bass.

Drew's Ultimate Ned Rig Rods feature elite-grade carbon fiber blanks integrated with Toray 12K High Modulus Fibers, resulting in exceptional tensile strength that surpasses 640 Ksi. The skeletal, super lightweight SSR guides come with stainless steel frames and double-swaged stainless steel inserts, which enhance line flow and add to the overall strength and durability of the rod. Additionally, the premium cork Tennessee handle reduces the weight of the rod and increases sensitivity. This handle also allows for user-customized reel placement to find the right balance point for the rod and reel. Z-Man has expertly developed a range of light-line, finesse lure spinning rods that integrate the best of both worlds when it comes to Ned rigging. With this combination of past and future technology, Drew's Ultimate Ned Rig Rods are ideal for bass, crappie, and walleye.
