The Widow Maker Lures Tungsten Hammer Fly Ice Jig combines the natural profile of an aquatic insect with the flash of a baitfish imitation to trigger aggressive strikes from crappie, bluegill, and perch. Its tungsten body sinks quickly, holding steady in the strike zone, while the unique dumbbell eyes imitate the shimmer of small forage fish. The Hammer Fly’s detailed body shape resembles chironomids or grubs—staples of a panfish’s winter diet—making it a deadly finesse option for pressured fish. Available in sizes #10 to #16, it excels when the bite slows and precision presentation makes the difference between marking and catching.
