Tie crisp, natural-looking nymph tails that hold their shape in the drift with the Wapsi Squirrel Body Piece. Squirrel hair comes naturally barred and runs shorter than rabbit, so it helps you build clean tail profiles on mayfly and caddis nymphs for trout, steelhead, and panfish without extra trimming or bulk at the bend. This natural scraped and dried rawhide piece gives you a consistent patch to pull fibers from at the vise, and the Natural Pine color keeps the look realistic across a wide range of nymph colorways. Approx. 3 in long by 2 in wide, it covers plenty of ties when you want that subtle barred tail detail.
