UNI-Thread gives fly tiers strong, controlled wraps for building clean trout, steelhead, and salmon patterns at the vise. Made from continuous denier polyester filaments that are slightly bonded and not twisted, this waxed thread lays virtually flat on the hook shank for smooth bodies and minimal bulk. Spin the bobbin to cord it up when extra tension and strength are needed for securing materials such as hackle, wings, or dubbing loops. Extremely strong for its diameter and recommended by the FishUSA staff for small fly work, UNI-Thread in 3/0 suits flies larger than size #12 while maintaining reliable holding power.
