UTC Vinyl Rib brings lifelike translucence and durability to freshwater and saltwater fly patterns, from scuds and stoneflies for trout to shrimp imitations for bonefish. This soft, D-shaped ribbing material lays smoothly on the hook and comes in multiple diameters to match your tying needs. Use the small size for ribbing and abdomens on trout nymphs or smaller saltwater flies, medium for Crazy Charlies and Gotchas on hooks 4–8, and large for stoneflies or saltwater patterns tied on 6–1/0 hooks. Its versatility makes it a staple for fly tyers looking to add depth, segmentation, and flash that holds up strike after strike.
