Sufix Performance Metered Tip-Up Ice Braid is metered in two high contrasting colors in five foot segments for precision depth management. This line is made with High Tenacity Polyester braid, known as HTP, which provides exceptional abrasion resistance, durability, low stretch, and diameter-to-strength ratios. The hydro fusion process ensures fast sinking speed, low memory, and exceptional cold weather handling.

    I put this on new polar tip ups I got for my son. It seems to collect water and and expand. Catch a few fish and the spools seems to get bigger and bigger each time it comes out of the water. At the end of the day I bring them in and dry them out. After they dry the line is very loose and then the tangles start. I have to pull line out after and re-wrap them, I don't want to do this after every trip. I had to cut line off of one tip up after two weekend trips because it was so wrapped up in itself and I couldn't get it off to re-wrap. I went back to the good old Dacron. Why I didn't put that on his tip ups in the first place I'll never know, never had a problem like this and kicking myself! I also was trying to help a friend out last year and put it on five of his tip ups. I haven't heard from him at all this year, he probably hates me. Wish I could give it less than one star.
