The St. Croix Musky X Casting Rod offers the strength, balance, and control musky anglers need to handle heavy baits and aggressive strikes. Built on premium SCII carbon fiber blanks enhanced with Fortified Resin System (FRS), the rod maintains excellent flexural strength while keeping weight to a minimum. Lightweight black stainless-steel guides with aluminum-oxide rings deliver smooth, consistent line flow for long-distance casting. Anglers can choose between split-grip models featuring progressive EVA handles for better control and fatigue reduction, or full-grip configurations that combine premium EVA and cork with an extended EVA foregrip for added leverage on figure-eights and hard-fighting fish. A durable palming-style nylon reel seat with a stainless-steel hood and locking nut keeps reels secure through demanding retrieves. The Musky X gives serious musky anglers a dependable tool for throwing large baits and controlling every battle from cast to net.
