The St. Croix Legend Elite Fly Rod delivers top-tier performance through a fusion of cutting-edge carbon construction and refined componentry for anglers who demand maximum feel, strength, and efficiency across diverse fly fishing applications. Built using a proprietary materials matrix of high-modulus SCIV and SCIII carbon with ART, IPC, FRS, TET, and SPF technologies, the Legend Elite achieves superior hoop strength, rod recovery, and energy transfer with minimal blank diameter and weight. Premium components include hard chrome snake guides, double-foot Fuji SiC stripper guides, and a hook keeper for practical rigging. Handle styles vary by model, offering snub-nose, micro full wells, or full wells with super-grade cork and cork-rubber accents for optimal grip and balance. Select models feature tapered cork fighting butts, and lighter line weights (up to 590-4) use a custom machined aluminum uplocking reel seat with rosewood inserts. All models are packaged in an aluminum rod tube with a rod sock, providing top-end protection for this flagship-level tool.
