The St. Croix Evos Salt Fly Rod delivers the performance, strength, and precision needed to target powerful saltwater species with total control. Engineered with an advanced materials matrix that combines SCVI ultra-high-modulus carbon, high-strain SCIV carbon, and SCII carbon, this rod generates efficient energy transfer and quick recovery without adding bulk. Mito Graphene reinforces the blank to enhance hoop strength, maintain stable loops, and improve casting accuracy. St. Croix’s IPC mandrel tooling, ART reinforcement, and Fortified Resin System further increase durability and responsiveness, while the Slim Profile Ferrule boosts strength with minimal weight. Premium saltwater-ready components include Recoil snake guides, Cerecoil stripper guides, a modified full wells flor-grade cork handle, and a machined aluminum uplocking reel seat with a composite-end fighting butt. Each Evos Salt Fly Rod comes packaged in an aluminum rod tube with a rod sock for secure transport and storage. This rod is a top-tier choice for serious saltwater fly anglers who demand accuracy, toughness, and refined feel in every cast.
