The SemperFli Classic Waxed Thread 18/0 range of Classic Waxed Threads (CWT) is designed specifically for fly tying for midges and all micro flies on hook sizes 14 to 32. The Semperfli 18/0 30 denier range waxed thread is a traditional 18/0 fly tying thread especially developed to be semi-translucent so that the threads help adopt the shade of the fly pattern. With two strands, 18/0 Classic Waxed will also lay reasonably flat and easily split to create dubbing loops. SemperFli Classic Waxed Thread 18/0 240 yards spools are ideal for crafting standard-size patterns for trout and salmon flies.

Using SemperFli's computerized spooling machinery, Classic Waxed Thread is leveled evenly on the spool to help avoid bird nests as you're tying. The highest quality polyester tying thread goes into every Classic Waxed 18/0 Semperfli Tying Thread. In addition to these offers, you get complete color consistency with every batch.
