The Rapala Down Deep Husky Jerk helps anglers cover productive water for walleye, bass, pike, salmon, and trout by reaching fish that hold deeper along Great Lakes breaks, trolling passes, and cast-and-retrieve lanes where standard jerkbaits miss the zone. Its oversized deep-diving lip drives the lure down to 20 ft. when trolled and as deep as 10 ft. on the cast, while the suspending body, long-casting profile, and tuned internal rattle chamber create loud, rhythmic attraction that keeps the bait working in front of pressured predators. Hand-tuned and tank-tested performance helps this deep-diving jerkbait run straight and true at speed, and premium VMC black nickel hooks finish a proven minnow bait available in glass and natural patterns for matching changing water conditions and forage profiles.
Oversized deep-diving lip reaches 20 ft. when trolled and 10 ft. when cast and retrieved
Suspending, long-casting body with a loud internal rattle chamber
Hand-tuned and tank-tested to run straight and true at faster trolling speeds
Available in glass and natural patterns with premium VMC black nickel hooks
I've hooked more walleye and pike with these in the last 3 years than anything else in my arsenal. The chrome is best and unversal for most waters. Jerk, troll, quick retrieve, it does it all.

Last spring I went to the Western Basin of Lake Erie for the first time. This caught the biggest walleye of the trip (28.5”). Not Hugh for the lake but the biggest for me!
