The Okuma Coldwater SS “A” Low Profile Line Counter Trolling Reel gives salmon, steelhead, walleye, lake trout, and striped bass anglers the strength and precise line placement needed to repeat productive trolling passes. Its mechanical line counter measures in feet, while Clear View Technology helps prevent fogging so anglers can monitor lure distance when running crankbaits, spoons, flashers, and lead core presentations. A rigid diecast aluminum frame and handle-side plate support the drivetrain under load, and CRC Corrosion Resistance Coating adds protection in demanding freshwater and saltwater environments.

Stainless steel components strengthen the main gear, precision machine-cut pinion gears, drive shaft, and spool shaft for dependable power. The multi-disc Carbonite drag system applies smooth pressure during hard runs, while an aluminum ratcheting drag star supports precise adjustments. A carbon fiber swept handle arm with Ergo Grip knobs provides comfortable leverage, and the 3BB + 1RB stainless steel bearing system works with the Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing for smooth, immediate engagement. The 5.4:1 gear ratio offers controlled line pickup, and right- and left-hand retrieve models accommodate angler preference.
