I have yet to fish with this rod, but bought it to compliment two other similar Lamiglas rods. I was pleasantly surprised to note that this rod had a faster/stiffer tip, so it should be even better for tossing flukes, small crank baits, small jigs, shake heads and the like. A great value at this price point. Like all my other Lamiglas rods, this one seems built to last and should provide years of reliable service.

I have yet to fish with the rod, but appreciate the quality construction. I own a number of Lamiglas rods, but though I might upgrade my quiver or bass sticks. I like to fast time and can see this as a great rod for throwing flukes, Texas ridges worms, shaking and like techniques. I do have some Pro XP casting rods and have enjoyed fishing with them. They are sensitive, strong and quite a bit lighter than my quiver of Certified Pro sticks I've always used for tournament fishing. At this price point you can't really go wrong, after all, it is a Lamiglas!

A solid rod from Lamiglas, excels at casting, a strong rod and a joy to reel in nice sized fish with. Reasonably priced and of course it's a lamiglas so time will tell how indestructible it is. I expect it to last a long time. I did, however, find it to be a bit too tip heavy. Depending on technique or use it could pose a problem and the reels seat kind of restricts where you can locate your hand to "balance" it better. Overall a really nice rod with the backbone to reel in big bass!
