Kalin's Wal-Fly gives river walleye anglers a unique way to fish streamer-style presentations with familiar spinning or casting tackle. Crafted with fine hair and streamer materials that create a baitfish profile, this walleye fly lets anglers cast and retrieve a single fly or assemble a multi-fly rig with up to three Wal-Flies where state regulations allow. For a two-fly presentation, anglers can use a 3-way swivel, weighted dropper, and staggered fluorocarbon leaders to keep the sinker near bottom while the flies work above it through current, holes, and river seams. The same setup also works behind a boat for trolling productive stretches of river, giving walleye a different presentation when traditional jigs, crankbaits, and live bait aren't producing.
