The Great Lakes Finesse Juicy Hellgrammite bait bears an uncanny resemblance to this prime live bait for smallmouth bass. The 2.4" Juicy Hellgrammite soft plastic bait, designed for high-pressured fish that shy away from traditional baits and imitates the larval stage of the Dobson fly. Your best rigging options are dragging or putting it on a drop shot, Ned rig, or Carolina rig. The Juicy Hellgrammite fits the mold of the company's baits by not having an unnatural shine in the finish, is soft and supple but more resistant to tearing than most, and mimics real bait movements to catch fish. Supplied mostly in shades of dark brown, tan, or black to match the live creature (there are color options for dirty water, too), the Great Lakes Finesse Juicy Hellgrammite definitely is one to check out.
