The Daiwa Ardito-TR Travel Spinning Rod gives traveling anglers a packable spinning rod that still feels smooth, sensitive, and ready for bass, walleye, trout, panfish, inshore species, and multi-species trips. Daiwa’s HVF graphite construction and X45 Bias Graphite fiber help reduce blank twist while adding strength and flexibility, giving the Ardito-TR a responsive feel for casting small swimbaits, tubes, jigs, drop shot rigs, live bait, and finesse presentations. Strategically placed V-Flex ferrules bend with the blank to maintain a smooth, powerful action across the multi-piece travel design, while Fuji aluminum oxide guides handle repeated casting and line flow. Each rod includes a semi-hard travel case that protects the sections in a vehicle, boat, camper, or packed travel setup, with split grip cork or EVA handle options available by model.

    Its rated for 1/8-3/8 lure, which I think is way off, more like 1/4-3/4 oz. Id say the action is very fast, everything from Daiwa is top shelf !

    I purchased this rod for a spring 2018 walleye fishing trip to Northern Ontario, Canada. I was a little hesitant to bring a travel rod but wanted one that I could check as a carry on. Long story short, I boated over 200 fish including a 42" pike with this rod with ZERO issues (7' Medium action running 8 lb. mono). You would never know it was a 3 piece rod as it had plenty of backbone for bigger fish, hook sets and good sensitivity for the light biting walleyes. I will definitely be using it again on a fly-in trip this spring.
