Product Details

Fly tyers need a reliable bond to keep their flies intact, and Wapsi Fly Head Cement delivers with three time-tested formulas for different finishing needs. The Water-Based Head Cement seeps into thread wraps for a strong, lasting hold while remaining non-flammable and easy to clean. It dries overnight and stays solid after curing, making it ideal for delicate dry flies and small patterns.

For faster drying, the Solvent-Based Head Cement saturates thread wraps and dries to a clear, flexible finish—great for nymphs, streamers, and classic wet flies. When building a tough, glossy finish on larger patterns, Wapsi Gloss Coat Fly Head Cement cures into a hard, high-shine surface perfect for salmon and steelhead flies.

    • Water-Based: Non-flammable, easy to clean, holds strong after curing
    • Solvent-Based: Fast-drying with a clear, flexible finish
    • Gloss Coat: Builds hard, glossy layers for high-shine heads
    • 1 FL. oz. jar
