What is the Eurotackle Mummy Worm Jarred Bait? Mummified wax worms that excel as ice fishing bait! Avoid the mess associated with live waxworms, mealworms, nightcrawlers, or spikes (maggots). This shelf-stable bait should last up to two years while preserving the wax worm's natural characteristics – they remain soft, flexible, and "will even keep its juice inside." (Eurotackle's words). Eurotackle Mummy Worms are natural wax worms that are – get this – "raised, colored and mummified on a French farm." Not making this up. One small live bait container that you can store in a tackle box holds about 36 wax worms.

The preserved live bait is a clear choice to use on a tungsten ice jig and adapts to any fishing technique. Mummy worms (yes, they are real wax worms) are versatile 4-season bait for trout, salmon, crappie, perch, bass, catfish, and all other fish species that recognize these natural meals.
