The Echo Musky Fly Rod is built to cast big flies and lead bigger musky beneath the boat without fear! Echo consulted with Midwest musky anglers to develop a fly fishing rod that can handle such large fish and still be easy to cast large flies all day long without losing a limb from exhaustion. The 11-wt. Musky Fly Rod is designed to hurl 400-500-grain full-sinking lines with fewer false casts. Newcomers or those with aggressive forward styles may prefer heavier lines to help load the rod, while highly skilled and obsessed musky anglers may opt for lighter lines to achieve more loop shape and better distance.

The Musky Fly Rod comes in two lengths: 8 ft. 8 in. for fishing close to the water and performing a Figure 8 technique with the rod tip, and 9 ft. 4 in. for reaching into the water from taller boats. Speaking of that rod tip, these Echo musky fishing rods are designed to be as tough as possible to swirl heavy flies and entice boat-side hookups. The fly rod also features a fighting grip and extended rear grip to help you battle these big fish, as well as oversized stripper guides that allow any knots and tangles to run through freely. Never worry about breaking your musky rod and losing that big fish again! Consider the height of your boat and casting style, practice your Figure 8s, and get ready to enjoy targeting musky river monsters with an Echo Musky Fly Rod!
