When drifting or slow trolling for slab Crappies this is the go to hook to employ when using live Herring , Shiners, or Fathead minnows. The light wire design keeps a papermouth Crappie hooked to the net if played gingerly with a tight line .The non offset bend is easy to remove with out beating up the mouth of the released fish. I still don't know if I prefer Nickel or Bronze hooks though and use both .

    Great all-around hook

These are a great hook for panfish fishing. I keep most sizes on hand and usually use them for float/bobber fishing with live bait.
