The Dobyns E.C. Special Spinning Rods are designed to give anglers unmatched sensitivity and performance for crappie fishing, whether casting or dock shooting. Developed in collaboration with crappie fishing expert Eric Cagle, these rods deliver exceptional quality and versatility to enhance your fishing experience. Eric's focus on creating gear that allows his clients to feel every subtle bite has resulted in two precision-engineered options: a 6-foot model perfect for casting and dock shooting, and a 7-foot rod constructed with premium 40-ton graphite for maximum sensitivity and strength. Built for serious anglers, these rods feature high-modulus graphite blanks for a lightweight yet powerful backbone, Seaguide guides for smooth line management, and Kevlar wrapping for added durability. The split-grip AA-grade cork handle ensures a comfortable, ergonomic grip, while the rear-locking reel seat provides a secure connection for your reel, giving you confidence during every fight. Whether you’re casting to distant schools or dropping jigs under docks, the E.C. Special Spinning Rods deliver the precision and feel needed to land big crappie. Fine-tuned by Eric Cagle and Gary Dobyns, these rods represent a commitment to quality and performance that anglers can trust.
