The Daiwa Steez SV Light TW 100 Casting Reel gives bass anglers the control to cast lighter Texas rigs, compact jigs, weightless plastics, and other precision presentations with the feel and speed expected from a top-tier baitcaster. Daiwa pairs the reel’s T-Wing System with its Ultimate Casting Design to open up line flow, reduce friction, cut line noise, and help manage backlash, which matters when you are skipping docks, firing at isolated cover, or covering water with lighter baits that can challenge traditional low-profile reels.

This Steez platform backs up that casting control with premium internal strength and drag performance. The Automatic Tournament Drag uses high-density woven carbon with specialized grease for smooth pressure under load, while G1 Duralumin brings a spool material Daiwa says is 1.3 times stronger than standard aircraft-grade aluminum and 2 times stronger than magnesium. Daiwa also builds the reel around four Ultimate Casting Design elements: Ultimate Casting Brake, Ultimate Casting Line Guide, Ultimate Casting Zero Adjust, and Ultimate Casting Spool. The 12CRBB + 1RB bearing system rounds out a reel made for anglers who want refined casting, strong fish control, and the crisp feel needed for high-end bass applications.
