Unexpected good rod and service from FishUSA
by Tom P
Got the NC1062XHRB. This is a great, versatile rod for the price. And when my first rod arrived with a defect, FishUSA made good and shipped me a second rod quickly. Can't beat the service!
The great thing about the rod is the 1-6oz lure range, it's perfect for drifting for salmon and it does fine down to 3/4. will prolly be good to throw down to 1/2 even. Has backbone to handle 20+ salmon. Good for those combat fishing scenarios when you wanna hold your rod higher than others, if need be. lighter than it looks, only slight flaw is that the balance point is a little forward than I like, but this side of a GLoomis or Edge, its a great rod.
A BEAST of a QUALITY ROD!

Bought a Diawa North Coast SS NC1062XHRB and when it came in I knew I had to buy the last one they had cause it looks and feels AWESOME! QUALITY! Can’t wait to go fishing!
Been a Diawa Rod fan for 30 years! Put an ABU Garcia Revo Toro Beast 60 reel on it and it balances out great! Got Trilene Big Game Solar 25lb. line to put on it! Ready for big Steelhead, Dorado, and maybe even TUNA!!!
Great Rod for the Price

I love using this rod for Surf Perch here on the west coast. I've got mine mated to a Daiwa Tatula HD. Casting and retrieving is great - every nibble can be felt and no issues setting the hook. See it in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTGx_cInnVk
This is a great value for the money but I still feel daiwa can to better considering how good their reels are!
