The Daiwa Aird 80 Casting Reel delivers smooth, efficient casting in a compact design that excels with lightweight rigs and close-quarters techniques such as skipping docks or pitching jigs. A 32mm aluminum Magforce spool provides consistent casting control, while the lightweight composite frame and side plates reduce fatigue during long sessions on the water. The high-speed 7.5:1 gear ratio quickly picks up slack, making it a solid choice for burning swim jigs or getting fish out of cover quickly. A 90mm swept handle with I-Shape knobs provides a solid grip and torque during hooksets and retrieves.
