Cortland Shooting / Running Line helps fly anglers fire shooting heads farther and fish heavy rigs with better control when steelhead, salmon, and lake-run trout hold deep and demand long presentations. This high-floating level running line uses a braided nylon multi-filament core with a stiff, hard finish that keeps it sturdy, shoots cleanly, and resists tangling on the retrieve, which matters when you are covering broad runs, swinging through current seams, or fishing chuck'n duck setups with split shot. Two welded loops at the ends of the line make head changes faster on the water, with one extra-large loop and one standard loop for simple rigging adjustments through changing conditions. Offered in a 100 ft. mint green configuration, this Cortland running line stays reliable through long days of casting in a wide range of weather.
