The Cortland 444 Big Shot Fly Line helps anglers drive big streamers into the wind and turn over heavy tandem nymph rigs without piling up false casts. This full line size heavy floating line uses an aggressive weight-forward taper and slick coating to load modern rods quickly, carry larger payloads, and keep presentations moving when trout, salmon, steelhead, bass, carp, Atlantic salmon, panfish, and other freshwater species demand more than a standard line can comfortably deliver. The 90 ft. sky blue line features a braided nylon multifilament core for dependable handling and a front welded loop that speeds up leader changes when you are switching from streamer work to indicator rigs or other larger setups.
