When panfish get finicky and every detail on your sonar matters, the Clam Drop-Kick gives ice anglers a compact tungsten jig with a fast drop, sensitive feel, and a distinct kick action that can turn lookers into biters. Developed with ice fishing legend Dave Genz, this panfish jig uses tungsten that weighs 30% more than lead, helping anglers reach deeper water quickly while maintaining a small presentation and better bottom contact. The 90-degree XL hook creates the jig’s unique kick when worked with a quivering cadence, while the increased hook gap and stronger wire improve hook-up potential on crappie, bluegill, perch, and other panfish. A larger tie-eye simplifies rigging with gloves or heavier line, and the flat-top head gives anglers a more visible sonar target when tracking small jigs with traditional sonar or forward-facing sonar. The Drop-Kick excels when maximum sensitivity, a compact profile, and controlled jigging matter most.
