The Catfish Sumo Heavyweight Champions Casting Reel delivers the power and durability anglers need to take on trophy catfish without wearing down gear or grip. A 5.3:1 brass gear system stands up to repeated battles with hard-fighting fish, while the multi-carbon-disc drag outputs 20 lbs. of smooth, consistent pressure. The 6+1 stainless steel bearing system ensures a fluid retrieve, and an infinite anti-reverse setup locks instantly to engage the drag wherever the handle stops. A loud on/off bait clicker alerts you to pickups on anchor sets, and the centrifugal braking system keeps heavy rigs in check during long casts. The thickened aluminum side plates, steel mounting base, and bonus power handle offer strength without bulk—this reel weighs only 12 oz. and handles 300 yards of .35 mm line. A neoprene reel cover is included to keep everything protected between trips.
