Best I Have Used
by Kennedy
I love these rods! They are amazingly light and the most sensitive I have used. The 7'4" multipurpose does everything. Great for chatterbaits, buzzbaits, and heavy spinnerbaits
Nice overall rod
by William Merrick
Great rod with very good sensitivity. I have noticed the power on these rods to be generally accurate as compared to what the model states. They are way heavy on the epoxy though and the tip guide is too large and seems odd in conjunction with the micro-guides. Overall nice rod.
6'9" Topwater/Jerkbait Rods Are Wonderful
by Brett
Jerkbaits are my favorite baits to throw. I am very picky when it comes to jerkbait rods. I own both 6'9" topwater/jerkbait rods. The Medium weighs 3.9 ounces and the MH weighs 4.2 ounces. They are flat out incredible. They both have that snappy tip and treble hook friendly backbone. 12 microguides so the rod is very supported. The medium is excellent for throwing finesse jerkbaits up to the 110s and the MH can deal with pretty much any normal jerkbait and the big spooks. The MH more medium than heavy and the medium is on the lighter side of medium. Lifetime warranty and 100% made in the USA. They don't mention it here, but each one I have purchased (5 so far) come with a factory rod sock in the tube. These icons are great.
4.4oz and a Monster
by Brett
I bought a mult-purpose model as soon as they were released. The thing is amazing. It weighs 4.42 oz for a 7'4" MH! I was worried it would be a jack of all trades master of none, but nothing could be further from the truth. I fish from a boat and a kayak. I wanted something that could handle a lot of presentations in the kayak. This rod impressed me so much I often find myself retying lures on my boat to be able to use this over other more expensive "technique specific" rods. This rod has plenty of power to sink all sorts of hooks, but this is an amazing rod for chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, large jerkbaits, and all sorts of crankbaits. I can't even list all of what this rod excels at. Its stiff but moderate which I wasn't sure about at first, but this thing can cross their eyes. The best is how it performs when loaded up on a fish, this thing keeps them pinned with great pressure. The microguides are small but pass an FG knot no problem.
ICONIC and amazing
by Rich
Have been using Cashion rods for a few years and super excited about the new ICON! Lighter than the other models by about 15%. Stunning looks with the new Kevlar gray/black handles combined with the high gloss, unsanded shine! Handle is redesigned with more contact to the blank, single trigger instead of double and no finger contact with the threads. Beautiful American flag and Cashion emblem in the blank along with writing indicating technique for quick identification in the rod box or on the deck!
