Excellent alternative to live bait

Excellent for tipping a 1/16 oz. jig or a size 6-8 hook in a float/drop shot configuration. The chartreuse Waxies seem to out perform the other available colors. Species I've caught using Gulp Alive Waxies include Bluegill, Pumpkinseed sunfish, small Largemouth, Common carp and yearling Brown trout. They're extremely resilient, easily withstanding 6-8 fish. Unfortunately, the jar is extremely prone to leakage. To avoid this, cut a small hole in the jar seal leaving 2/3 intact. I recommend keeping the jar in a leak proof plastic bag as a secondary precaution.

I used it for Trout fishing and found it amazing. Started catch fish in no time.
work like live bait

Worked as good as live bait. Stays on hook a lot longer than live bait. Jars leak if you pull seal off. Cut around jar mouth and leave the edge to act as a seal.
They actually work

I use them to tip Marmooska lures for fishing panfish through the ice (perch & sunfish). They are every bit as effective as the real thing.

Easier to use than the real thing.

Have both White and Chartreuse, both work equally well, just change out when water clarity dictates. Skin hook from the larger end and this Waxie will lay down flat on your plastic micro jig and imitate an egg sac on an insect or belly on a baitfish. Hook up and Hold on!!
A good option when you can't dig up worms
Bought these to try for bluegill this summer. They work great on bluegills, pumpkin seeds, and even small trout.
