Atlas Bait Sac Floaters help steelhead and salmon anglers keep spawn sacs and other natural baits up off the bottom and closer to feeding fish. Adding these 1/4-inch floaters to a bait sac helps lift your presentation above weeds, rocks, and other snags where drifting or bottom-fishing baits can get buried or hung up. Prepare your spawn sac normally, replacing approximately 25% to 30% of the bait with floaters to add buoyancy without changing your basic tying process. Anglers can also attach the floaters directly to a hook when presenting salmon eggs, grubs, worms, flies, and other baits for trout, steelhead, salmon, and other species feeding near the bottom.
