FishUSA Sales & Security Policies
If your order contains items that are subject to sales tax in the state to which your order is shipped, and we are required to collect sales tax in that state, we will charge sales tax on those items. Sales tax may apply to shipping and handling charges.
We do not not charge sales tax on gift cards. However, purchases made with gift cards may be subject to sales tax.
Damaged or Lost Items
If you receive a package that is visibly damaged, please note the damage on the carrier's freight bill or receipt. Be sure to obtain a copy of that bill or receipt. Once received, please keep the original package, and please keep all packing materials and parts intact. Please contact our Customer Service Department by email at email@example.com or by telephone at 800.922.1219 within ten calendar days after receiving a damaged shipment.
If you believe an order has been lost in transit, please contact our Customer Service Department by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone at 800.922.1219, as soon as you believe that a shipment has been lost in transit.
Military & First Responder Discount Programs
FishUSA is pleased to honor our United States veterans and first responders with a 10% discount on our store. The discount is available to all active military men and women, and veterans of all military branches (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard) and active or retired first responders (police, fire, and EMS). To qualify for the discount, you must have an account on our store, and we must be able to verify your eligibility.
To request a military or first responder discount, first create an account on our store.
- If your active duty status date (i.e., your enlistment date) is after September 1, 1985, then call us, or email us at email@example.com and provide us with your date of birth, and your active duty status date.
- If your active duty status date is on or before September 1, 1985, then provide us with a current copy of your military ID or DD 214. This information can be sent to us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, by fax to 866.333.6143, or by mail to 6960 West Ridge Road, Fairview, PA 16415. Also provide us with the email address that is associated with the account you created on our store.
- For security purposes, please do not send us your social security number or your service number. If you send us a copy of your military ID or DD 214, please obscure that information.
- Provide us with a current copy of your ID or a copy of your retiree ID. This information can be sent to us by email to email@example.com, by fax to 866.333.6143, or by mail to 6960 West Ridge Road, Fairview, PA 16415. Also provide us with the email address that is associated with the account you created on our store.
- For security purposes, please do not send us your social security number.
Once we have verified your eligibility, we will email you, and a 10% discount will apply to all orders placed through your personal account with FishUSA.
This offer cannot be combined with any other offer or discount, and cannot be used to purchase FishUSA Gift Cards, kayaks, downriggers, electronics, or products from Shimano, G. Loomis, Hobie or Megabass.
We reserve the right to decline to apply this discount to any order, and to limit or end this program at any time.

At times we offer discounts or coupons. Only one discount or coupon may be redeemed per shipping address during any one day. We reserve the right to decline to accept or ship orders where multiple discounts or coupons are used.

Some products offered on our site are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. A copy of a specific warranty, where one is offered by a manufacturer, will be made available for inspection before sale upon request. To obtain a copy of a manufacturer's warranty before sale, if one is available, contact us by email or by telephone at 800.922.1219.
All claims made under a manufacturer's warranty must be made directly to the manufacturer.

Although we strive to be as accurate as possible, FishUSA.com cannot be liable for pictorial or typographical inaccuracies on our site.
We reserve the right to limit quantities, to refuse service to any person, and to cancel any order placed on our site.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors on our site. We also reserve the right to refuse to ship products which were erroneously priced on our site, and to cancel orders which experienced a programming or technical error.

We will not allow backorders to be placed for items that are $30 or less.
