In 8 trips to a friend's 22 acre dairy pond during last year's crappie spawn, I caught over 650 1/2 to 1 pound crappie using a 1/16 ounce chartreuse RoadRunner tipped with a black and chartreuse Creme MiniTail. All fish were caught fishing from about 25 yards of bank in water up to 8' deep. In 4 tris so far this year I have already caught nearly 100 good crappie from the same spot using the same bait . . . and the spawn has not yet started!

Awesome jig. I consistently catch slab crappies, bass and other panfish with this lure. Pair it with a crappie thunder skirt or slabalicious by Strike King and you have the perfect combo.
