I love this knife. Ive been old school with the Rapala fillet knife for 45 years. I started with a corded electric knife 1st. It worked great. The problem was that the cord kept getting in the way. I researched several battery operated knives. I decided to go with the Rapala Ion kit. Ive been using it since 2018. This knife has not let me down. I could fillet two Perch by the time my buddy would finish one with his fillet knife. He now owns one too. Its nice the kit comes with two batteries. You can also use different knife sets with it. I purchased a slimmer blade for panfish, which works great!

I purchased my Rapala LI Cordless Fillet Knife Combo in January of 2018 and have filled hundreds of Crappie and Catfish. The advertisement is correct, you can fillet about 80 fish per battery. In early November I was filleting catfish and the battery went dead. I changed the battery when I put it in the knife I broke the latch on the battery. I sent that battery back to Rapala and about a week later I had a new battery and charger at my home. I believe this Is the BEST battery/electric knife Rapala has ever put on the market.
