Smooth Reel

The Kingpin Imperial 575 is a super smooth reel. It performs excellent and I definitely made the right choice in getting it. It is a bit pricey but the quality is worth it.

I procrastinated for a while as to spend the extra dollar on one of these reels but glad I did in the end. Solid build, strong clicker, spins forever and at the same time as smooth as butter. Now the only problem is im procrastinating on a zeppelin lol

Dropped by FishUSA and the friendly and knowledgeable folks there suggested that I take a look at this reel. I had been using an Islander Steelheader for over a decade. Decided to pick this one up and am very glad I did. This is an excellent center pin reel for the money. Nothing at all wrong with the Islander, but this reel is bigger and feels more substantialespecially with a fish on. My 13' float rod feels more balanced with this larger reel also. I have used The Imperial on local tribs exclusively during 2018 and it's been a solid performer in all water and weather conditions. Highly recommended.
