Product Details

The Church Tackle TX-44 Super Planer Board is built for anglers chasing big game fish such as salmon, striper, muskie, northern pike, and walleye. It's tough enough to work with heavy, hard-pulling lures and can manage drop weights, lead core, copper, or wire lines up to one pound. This makes it perfect for use with Dipsy Divers, Jet Divers, Slide Divers, Dive Bombs, and Torpedo Divers. The size of the TX-44 helps keep it above water, even with larger catches and at higher trolling speeds, ensuring consistent visibility and stability.

The TX-44 Super Planer Board features a 2-in-1 board clip and a spring-loaded retaining pin for secure placement. Its design also includes a Vise Clip specially made for securing heavier line types without accidental release and a visible fluorescent red flag to enhance safety and visibility on the water. Moreover, the TX-44 is reversible and can be easily assembled to run on either the port (left) or starboard (right) side, with the ability to switch back in just a few minutes. This adaptability makes it ideal for anglers who require versatility along with reliable performance for their trolling setups. Whether targeting large game fish in freshwater or saltwater, the TX-44 stands out for its robust build and practical features.

I love this board, I wish I hadn't spent the money on Walleye boards first. I started with the Walleye boards and they worked okay for under10 color lead core line. When I started using 10 color plus Lead core, copper lines up to 400' the Walleye boards didn't work well. So I bought the TX-44s. They track very well and are no more difficult to reel in than the smaller Walleye boards, maybe a little easier because they don't have as much tendency to nose dive near the boat. When I fish with my friends on their boats they always ask me to bring my TX-44s.
